History


Once upon a time in Vancouver, Canada

Marcom Connect has been providing innovative web solutions since 2000. It all started in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, where Jean-Claude Sechet founded the company under the name Marcom Consulting.

"As Marketing Manager for a language school, I was convinced that there was a better way to schedule meetings prior to educational workshops. The traditional emailing back and forth system in place simply did not work for me. I was driven by passion, a strong desire to innovate and knew that customer satisfaction would be crucial.

It took some time and hard work to convince participants, and then organizers to use the first solution. Referrals from early adopters soon made a huge difference.

Over the years, we have listened to feedback received from organizers and participants to improve our solutions and broaden our offer. A team, driven by the same passion and similar values, has been built to carry the vision."

Milestones

2000 - Start of Marcom Consulting International in Vancouver
Services provided included website development, search engine optimization and the first appointment scheduling solution for educational workshops.
2002 - Marcom Consulting moves its headquarters to the southwest of France (Montauban).
2005 - Launch of Marcom eSchedule PRO a centralized solution used by all participants.
2006 - Launch of Marcom Agenda Builder.
2007 - Launch of Marcom Website Manager and Marcom eSchedule Lite.
2008 - Launch of Marcom Event Connect.
2009 - Launch of the Show Me Your World game.
2010 - 10th Anniversary. Move to a new location. Marcom Consulting becomes Marcom Connect and opens up to new industry sectors.
